This sterling silver nosegay brooch is set with a blossom and bud of carved carnelian. The silver sprig of flowers is sweetly modeled in multiple layers. Each petal is individually constructed, and the craftsmanship is wonderful. The warm orange carnelian is carved with Chinese-style designs, a very popular style during the Art Deco era. This piece is generously sized, perfect for your favorite fall jacket. Circa 1920.
