This Mid Century brooch is exquisitely made, and the glamour of rich green jade and sparkling diamonds is undeniable. Strikingly beautiful jade is carved into an elaborate foliate design. The carving is set in a 14k white gold frame, with diamond-set flourishes extending from either side of the piece. Turn the brooch over and the quality of the workmanship is easily observed. A trombone clasp completes the piece, and one of the flourishes functions as a bale should you wish to wear the brooch as a pendant. Circa 1950.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.58" by 0.90". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on antique and vintage jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
