A basket filled with Rose Cut Diamond Flowers, really what more could you ask for? It is so magical when you hold it in your hand it is difficult to put into words. I do think there is a message in the flowers, as they loved to do in the 1800s, as there are a variety of flower types. Lily of the valley, daisies, tulips, and so many I don't recognize. I will leave it to the new owner to decipher with their Language of Flowers book in hand, won't that be fun? There are 131 diamonds sparkling and winking in this fabulous brooch, with a total weight of 1.50 carats. The brooch is silver on gold and marked with 19thc French Import marks which date it to the mid 1800s.
