Stylized Iris Rhinestone Brooch by Kramer

This gorgeous rhinestone brooch from Kramer resembles a stylized iris flower. Large pear-cut crystals are wrapped in three-dimensional petals composed of small round stones. The glittering white rhinestones are set in silver-tone costume metal. This substantial brooch fastens with a secure rollover pin. Signed "Kramer" on the back. The perfect accent to a formal gown or tuxedo. Circa 1950.

Kramer of New York was founded by Louis Kramer in 1943, and the business produced beautiful, high-quality costume jewelry until sometime around 1980. Kramer was chosen to be Christian Dior's US manufacturer in the 1950s.
