Belle Epoque Style Hollycraft Rhinestone Necklace

This exquisite Mid Century Hollycraft necklace recalls the opulence of the Belle Epoque. The necklace is a graduated garland of round, oval and pear-cut stones in a muted rainbow spectrum. The rhinestones are set in clusters amongst tender gold-tone tendrils. This is a hallmark color palette for Hollycraft jewels. Supple and well made, the piece is thoroughly hinged and the stones are all prong set. The necklace fastens with a folding clasp that is signed "Hollycraft Copr. 1950." Circa 1950.

Hollycraft jewelry was produced from 1948 to 1971 by the New York City based Hollywood Jewelry Manufacturing Company. Hollycraft costume jewels are high quality, easily recognizable and quite collectable.
