A mesmerizing rivière necklace, set with gorgeous bronze glass gems. The oval faceted stones are prong-set horizontally in gold-tone costume metal links; the links are open-backed and lightweight, allowing the metallic glass to be exquisitely illuminated. The necklace fastens with a hook and extender chain clasp set with small bronze beads. This piece combines simplicity with drama in the most delightful way. Circa 1940.
Details.....The necklace is 14" long, 16..5" with extender chain, and the links measure .50" by .75". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it a part of their charm.
