Opulent Swarovski Crystal Necklace by Eisenberg

This opulent Eisenberg necklace is set with a dazzling array of Swarovski crystals. The choker-length necklace is a chain of crystal links supporting a decorative centerpiece, a cluster of round stones accented by a burst of rhinestone-set flourishes and crystal dangles. The necklace fastens with an unusual hook clasp and crystal-set extender chain. Supple and well-made, each crystal is prong-set by hand in icy silver-tone metal, marked "Eisenberg" on the clasp. Circa 1950.

Eisenberg & Sons is an esteemed American jewelry company that makes high-quality costume jewelry. Jonas Eisenberg established the company in Chicago in 1914, offering high-end womenswear. But, it was the clothing's ornate buttons and brooches that seized public attention. In the 1930s, the company launched a line of jewelry that used dazzling Swarovski crystals in innovative designs called Eisenberg Ice.

Details: The necklace is 13" long, 16" with an extender chain, and the center of the piece is .90" wide. The earrings measure .90" by 1.15". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
