Romantic Art Nouveau Gold Fill & Paste Locket

A wonderful Art Nouveau locket, modeled with curling plumes and sparkling with bright white paste stones. The glowing gold fill locket's front features romantic whiplash lines, studded with paste stones, flowing around its edge. A single paste is center-set. The effect is of a crescent moon and North Star, repoussé metal work give this piece its three-dimensional quality. The back is engraved with the monogram "LMB." The interior is clean with no glass, and the clasp is nice and tight. This lovely piece hangs on a vintage gold-filled rope chain. Circa 1900.

Details.....The chain is 17" long, the locket measures 1.20" in diameter. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
