Unusual Crystal Chandelier Earrings by Eisenberg

Unusual Swarovski crystal chandelier earrings from Eisenberg. The clip-on earring tops are set with large, round crystals. Drops of horizontally set emerald-cut stones are framed in marquise and pear-cuts. Flourishes of small rhinestones curl around the emerald cuts, creating a lyrical shape. Like, they look like little lyres. Beautifully formed in three dimensions and marked "Eisenberg" on the sides of the earring clips. Circa 1940.

Eisenberg & Sons is an esteemed American jewelry company that makes high-quality costume jewelry. Jonas Eisenberg established the company in Chicago in 1914, offering high-end womenswear. But, it was the clothing's ornate buttons and brooches that seized public attention. In the 1930s, the company launched a line of jewelry that used dazzling Swarovski crystals in innovative designs called Eisenberg Ice.
