Dramatic Watermelon Rhinestone Earrings by Juliana

Juliana jewelry often employs rhinestones in the most fascinating and unexpected color combinations. These fabulous clip-on earrings pair soft blue and gray stones with the wildest watermelon rhinestones ever. The pear-shaped watermelon stones are positively psychedelic, like an oil slick in the rain. An array of blue and gray stones with touches of Aurora Borealis frames the watermelon. All the stones are prong-set in gold-tone costume metal. These dramatic Juliana earrings are unsigned, as is common for this maker. Circa 1960.

Juliana Jewelry was founded in 1949 by William DeLizza and Harold Elster. Juliana Originals launched in 1967. These collectible jewels were originally marked exclusively with paper hang tags and only on select pieces. Most tags were lost or discarded, leaving the jewelry unmarked today.
