Engraved Gold Swivel Locket from UnoAErre

This engraved Italian swivel locket is in lovely condition. The 14k gold locket is an oval, engraved on the front with a diagonal foliate stripe on a field of Florentine engraving. The back is undecorated. A swiveling mechanism makes the locket easy to open and close. Interior glass and frames are very clean and intact on both sides. A decorative bale is pierced and stamped "UnoAErre" and "Italy." The locket comes on a modern 14k gold rope chain, but it would look striking worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains. Circa 1960.

UnoAErre is a goldsmith, jewelry, and watchmaking company founded on March 15, 1926 by Leopoldo Gori and Carlo Zucchi, in the city of Arezzo. The company reached its height in the 1960s, and continues to produce jewelry and accessories to this day.

Details.....The chain is 16" long, the locket measures 0.80" by 1.4", 1.7" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
