Feminine French Locket with Enameled Pastel Posies

A French locket with the soft feminine romance of the Art Deco era. The oval locket is 18k gold. It is beautified with navy blue guilloché enamel and pastel posies. Thoughtful details abound, each side of the locket displays a different bouquet of flowers. The interior is great condition, with a hinged picture frame. The locket hangs on a modern 14k gold rope chain, its bale bears French hallmarks. Circa 1920.

Guilloché enamel is a decorative technique in which a very precise, repetitive pattern is machine engraved into metal, then covered with a layer of translucent enamel. The intricate engraved geometric patterns are visible through the enamel.

Details.....The chain is 18" long, the locket measures .54" by .76", .85" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
