An interesting English 9ct gold locket with Machine Age appeal. A simple oval of highly polished gold is bisected vertically by a deep groove inlaid with twisted wire. The interior has a fancy glass pane on one side and something like contact paper on the other. A jump ring bale suspends the locket from a modern 10k recycled gold rope chain. This understated piece grows cooler the closer you look. Circa 1860.
Details.....The locket measures 0.60" by 0.85". The chain is 16" long. The piece weighs 4.9 grams. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
