Italian Sterling Silver St. Jude Thaddeus Medal

A vintage St. Jude Thaddeus medal with a cool, Mid Century aesthetic. St. Jude hold something in his arms, like an image of Jesus. The legend "Saint Jude Thaddeus Pray For Us" is incised around the pendant's edge. A jump ring has been added to the medal's bale. The piece's back is stamped "925 Italy," and with a "P" inside a pentagon, which is a sterling silver mark. Circa 1950.

Saint Jude Thaddeus is the patron saint of lost causes, hope, and desperate situations. He is also known as the "Patron of the Impossible" because of his reputation for receiving powerful intercessions from God for those in dire need.

Details.....The medal measures .60" in diameter, .67" with bale. In Very Good Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
