Japonesque Coin Silver Fob and Chain

Japanese influenced designs were all the rage in the 1920s and this is quite a wonderful example of that fashionable fad. Made of coin silver each link is fashioned in a two piece design of a floer embossed cylinder in a rectangular frame. The hook is sturdy and marked "coin" for the silver fineness. The front of the circular fob features a warrior with a fly whisk and a bow and the reverse has a wonderful flower pattern matching the links. Circa 1920.

Coin Silver is as its name implies the same fineness as silver coins, which is 900. Sterling silver is 925.

Details: The chain and hook are 4.5", long and the fob is .96" across. In Excellent Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
