One side of this double-sided Georgian locket displays a hand-painted miniature of a dapper Regency gent in period clothing; the other side holds a thick plait of honey-colored hair. The fine fellow is tastefully coiffed, his blonde muttonchops meeting his high collar. The oval crystal is framed in 18k gold and heavily engraved with a lush floral motif. A matching split ring bale makes it easy to wear this romantic piece on a ribbon or chain. Circa 1800.
Details: This locket measures 1.16" by .30" by 1.36", 1.48" with bale. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
