Architectural Diamond, 18k Gold & Platinum Deco Ring

This Art Deco ring has a fascinating architectural quality, its bold geometry is communicated in 18k gold, platinum and diamonds. The top of the ring is a square pyramid of stepped gold. A square panel of pierced platinum is inset at the apex, like an elaborate skylight. Five old mine cut diamonds with a .35tcw form a quincunx, set in the platinum. This mesmerizing structure sits atop wide ribbed shoulders that taper into a substantial gold band. An extremely cool entry into the Square Ring Club. Circa 1920.

Details.....Currently a size 5. The top of the ring measures 15.7mm by 15.7mm, 20.5mm across the shoulders, and the band is 5.5mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
