Bold Diamond & Sapphire 18k Gold Band

A bold 18k gold diamond and sapphire band with 1980s graphic appeal. The substantial gold band is flat, with squared-off edges and a gently tapered shank. A .35ct diamond is center set, slightly raised in a white gold bezel framed by a yellow gold ridge. Alternating sapphire and diamond baguettes are channel-set across the ring's shoulders in blue and white stripes. Wedding band or engagement ring? This luxurious ring is the best of both worlds. Circa 1980.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $3400.

Gem Details.....The center diamond is a .35ct early round brilliant full cut, with SI1 clarity and G-H color. Four straight baguette diamonds have a .41tcw, with VVS1-2 clarity and H-I color. Four sapphire baguettes have a .49tcw, with eye-clean clarity and Medium, Moderately Strong, Blue (B 5/4).

Details.....Currently a size 5.25. The top of the ring measures 20mm by 5.9mm, and the band is 2.7mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
