Elegant and Curvy 1940s OEC Engagement Ring

Beautiful and feminine this classic 1940's engagement ring takes the usual crisp edges of that decade and turns them into curves. Set with a rare bright white Old European Cut Diamond in a just right Carat and a half held in triple corner prongs with a pair of side diamonds held in a cluster of prongs. The band starts at the shoulders with curving grooves and smoothing out to a half round band. Platinum and 18k white gold, circa 1940.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $15,200.

Diamond Details.....The center diamond is a 1.53ct Old European, with VS1 clarity and G-H color. Two round brilliant full cut accent diamonds have a .16tcw, VVS-VS clarity and G-H color. The ring has a 1.69 total carat weight.

Details.....Currently a size 7.75. The top of the ring measures 8.4mm wide and the band is 1.6mm wide. In Excellent Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
