Outrageous Yellow Zircon Ring with Pear Diamond Accents

An outrageous 6.18ct yellow zircon is the star of this arresting platinum cocktail ring. The oval zircon is prong-set in a raised basket that allows plenty of light to pass through and illuminate the electrifying gemstone. Two carefully matched pear cut diamonds with a 1.38tcw flank the zircon; they are set at a gentle slope in the ring's cathedral shoulders. The setting is clean-lined and architectural, allowing the gems to take center stage. The zircon's dazzling, sunshiney color is will take your breath away. Circa 1990.

Gem Details.....The oval faceted zircon weighs 6.18ct, with Eye-clean clarity. and Medium, Very Slightly Brownish, Yellow (Y 5/3) color. Two pear shape brilliant cut diamonds weigh .69ct each for a total weight of 1.38ct, with S1 clarity and G-H color. 

Details.....Currently a size 6.75. The top of the ring measures 22.2mm by 12.8mm, the band is 1.7mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
