Pink Tourmaline & Diamonds in 18k Gold Cocktail Ring

A hot pink tourmaline is sitting pretty in this striking 18k gold cocktail ring. The .90ct pear-cut tourmaline is displayed in a four-prong basket. Six round diamonds are prong-set in clusters of three on each of the ring's shoulders. The diamonds have a .30tcw; their bright sparkle emphasizes the tourmaline's rich color. The stones are raised in an airy gallery above a flat band that splits and flares, then tapers back into a flat shank. 1980s glamour was informed by 1940s Retro design, this ring is a fabulous example of the trend. Circa 1980.

Details.....Currently a size 7. The top of the ring measures 14.3mm by 9.2mm, and the band is 2.1mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
