Remarkable Sapphire & Old Mine Diamond Edwardian Ring

A rich inky blue oval sapphire is set between two sparkling white, old mine cut diamonds. All three are in a lovely engraved panel. Pretty hand-carved vines climb the shoulders of the platinum ring while the sides hold engraved forget-me-not flowers trailing leaves. The bezel set gems, low profile, and sturdy design of this beautiful ring make it a wonderful choice for an engagement ring. This ring is a fine example of the romance and refinement that makes the jewels of this era so special. Circa 1910.

Gem details...The natural blue sapphire is approx. .50 carats and the old mine-cut diamonds are VS-G/H with an approximate total weight of .40 carats.

Details.....Currently, size 5. The top of the ring measures 14mm by 7mm, and the band is 3.4mm wide. In Excellent Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
