Ideal English Diamond Solitaire in 18ct Gold

This English beauty is the ideal diamond engagement ring. A sparkling round diamond resides in a white gold head that resembles a delicate crown; many small prongs make for a secure setting that allows a great deal of light to pass through the stone. The white gold highlights the color and sparkle of the (aproximate) .25ct diamond. The diamond-set head sits above the body of the ring in luxurious 18ct gold, buttery and warm. Pinched cathedral shoulders taper into a slightly wider band, a very graceful and feminine look. Tiny gold circles are tucked under the arched shoulders, a sweet detail visible in profile. Two-tone metal and a slim band allow this solitaire ring to pair perfectly with a wide variety of wedding bands. Circa 1950.
