This antique red jade carving really embodies the otherworldly beauty of a googly eyed koi fish. The detail is amazing and the closer you look at this good luck fish the more details you see. It was common for antique jade carvings to be mounted as jewelry for export to the US market, the silver filigree and enamel brooch frame is early 20thc. The jade 19th century.
