D-A Saga Series Scandinavian Sterling Ring

This Mid-Century Modern ring inspired by traditional Scandinavian jewels comes from the renowned Norwegian design house of David-Andersen. A sterling silver bypass ring wraps around the finger. The animal-faced terminals, probably wolves, are stamped with a decorative design. The band is embellished with a silver twist. A distressed texture and warm patina give the ring a sense of depth and age. The band's interior is signed "D-A Norway Sterling 925S" and "Copy Orig. Year 300." Circa 1950.

In the Mid-20th Century, a hoard of Viking-age jewelry was unearthed from Scandinavian burial mounds. Inspired by the cache, the house of David-Andersen created the Saga Series jewelry collection.

Details... A size 6.5. It is very slightly adjustable but cannot be sized. The top of the band measures 12mm wide and tapers to 2.9mm wide in the back. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
