This elaborate Edwardian English medal fob is gorgeous. The openwork sterling silver medal is wedding cake-ornate with curling leaves, flourishes, and exquisite engraving. Sitting at the center is an applied oval gold shield hand-engraved with the initials "CSL." The back of the medal is engraved with the personal inscription "Winners of Schools League 1903-04." This delightful fob will look charming on one of our Ancient Influences' married chains.
The jump ring is hallmarked for English Sterling. The back of the medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver, and 1903. It bears the maker's mark "W.A." for Birmingham silversmith William Adams Ltd.
Details: The medal measures 1.14" by 1.62", 1.87" with the bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
