Exquisite Zuni Turquoise Inlay & Silver Barrette

One of the most beautiful barrettes we have ever seen, it is an exquisite example of Zuni lapidary work in a flowing, organic shape. Two flowers with long curved stems nestle together to create a beautifully balanced navette shape. Small round turquoise gems sit flush in silver bezels, with beading along one edge and twisted wire along the other. Inlaid turquoise flowers are ringed in bright silver beads. The coin silver barrette curves with the natural shape of the head. The piece's bar clips are in good working order, and the underside is engraved "M+R." The ideal crown for your crowning glory. Circa 1980.

Details.....The barrette measures 2.16" by .88". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on antique and vintage jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
