Handsome Sculling Cup English Sterling Fob

This lovely sterling silver English medal fob is in crisp condition. The round medal is topped with a ribbon-like banner. An applied gold shield sits at the center, bordered by a scaled pattern and hand engraved with the initials "JM." The back of the medal is engraved with the personal inscription "J.A. Mitchell Sculling Cup 1921."  This fine fob will look very handsome worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

The medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1921. It bears the maker's mark "Bs" for silver smith Bravingtons Ltd.
