A beautiful and rare Santo Domingo slide pendant. A slice of mule deer bone has been covered entirely with an inlay of vivid red coral. Buttons of incredible robin's egg blue turquoise ring the exterior of the bone. So unusual, we haven't seen anything else quite like it. Circa 1980.
This style of inlay originates with the Kewa Pueblo, previously known as the Pueblo of Santo Domingo, people of New Mexico.
