An interesting sterling silver bar pin with a Classical motif. The bar is engraved with an organic, distressed texture. One end of the bar terminates in a disc engraved with the profile of a Roman soldier, the other end bears the profile of a Roman wearing laurels. A silver disc engraved with the visage of the Roman god Mercury dangles from the center of the bar. The brooch fastens with a c-clasp. Circa 1900.
Details.....The brooch measures 2.25" across with a 0.90" drop at center. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
