An elegant vintage engagement ring with an old European cut diamond set in platinum and 18k white gold from Rost. The .45ct center stone sparkles in a four-prong head. Flanking the raised head are two bright accent diamonds, set in crisp square shoulders that taper into a slender band. The band's interior is marked "Patd. 116337" and "ROST." It's the perfect ring for pairing with the wedding band of your dreams. Circa 1940.
In 1900, Carl Rost moved to Indianapolis to open Carl L. Rost Diamond Merchants. He retired in 1920, and the business was known as Rost Jewelers until the company closed in 1952.
