We love the timeless style of a gypsy ring. This Mid Century amethyst and diamond gypsy band is a Victorian Revival stunner with a subtle nod to the Modernist aesthetic. The substantial 14k gold band is center set with a glossy amethyst cut en cabochon, displayed in a sleek gold collar. Smaller round diamonds flank the gem, inset in the band in traditional gypsy band fashion. The top of the ring is unusually heavy, with wonderfully soft curving lines that taper into a wide shank. So handsome. Circa 1960.
Details.....Currently a size 6. The top of the ring measures 6.8mm wide, and the back of the tapered band measures 4.1mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. Small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of the charm.
