A fabulous and highly personalized wedding band in 18k gold by the famous jewelers Van Cleef & Arpels. The glossy half-round band has a flat interior. The band is marked "18k VCA CSO 3055" and is engraved with the romantic inscription "'And I always will' ... Catherine 4/25/76." This is a special piece in a sought-after larger size. Circa 1960.
Van Cleef & Arpels is a French luxury jewelry company founded in Paris by the Dutch diamond-cutter Alfred Van Cleef and his father-in-law Salomon Arpels in 1896.
