This breathtaking diamond cluster ring instantly brings to mind the awe-inspiring rose windows found in Gothic churches and cathedrals. A cluster of 23 old European cut diamonds sparkle and shine, set in heavily milgrained platinum. The 2.16tcw diamonds are arranged in the form of a lavish blossom, with a center stone set within a halo of smaller stones within a ring of diamond "petals." Light refracts through the 16.3mm cluster like a dream. The diamond-encrusted platinum is set in a domed 14k yellow gold band that tapers into a wide shank. A many-petaled flower is cast on each wide shoulder. The ring is gorgeous from the inside, too. This outstanding ring is a very large size, the proportion for a larger hand. Circa 1900.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $6100.

Diamond Details.....Eleven .15ct to .23ct old European cut diamonds have a 1.93tcw, with SI1 - I2 clarity and H-I-J color. Twelve .014ct to .024ct old European cuts have a .23tcw, with I1-2 clarity and H-I-J color. The ring's total diamond weight is 2.16 carats.

Details.....This ring is too large to be measured on our mandels (ring sizers) and is over a size 13. The top of this ring measures 18.6mm wide and tapers to a 3.5mm wide band. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
