A miniature painting of a Mughal ruler is set under a curved crystal. The colors are still quite vibrant and the image distinct and crisp. It is likely this was made into a stick pin in the era of British rule, as the image is sideways and intended for wear on a cravat. The miniature likely began it's life much earlier as a button. This would be beautiful on a scarf.
