This Victorian cut steel buckle is unusually colorful, with bright, iridescent "gems" on a golden frame. The construction is wonderful. Faceted marquis and domed cut steel studs in hues of blue, purple, magenta, etc. are individually riveted to the buckle's frame. The teeth of the buckle swivel easily and are in good working condition. This fun piece will look fantastic on a belt, sash or scarf. Circa 1860.
Details.....The buckle measures 1.45" by 2.78". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
