This fascinating little brooch dates to the turn of the 18th Century. An example of Silesian wire work, a jewelry making style closely related to Berlin Iron jewelry. The intricate designs were fashioned from base metal then finished in black lacquer. Delicate, lightweight and historically interesting. Circa 1800-1820.
Details.....The brooch measures 0.84" by 1.19". In Good Antique condition. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique jewels we consider it a part pf their charm.
