This wonderful Edwardian English medal fob is double-sided and elaborately cut out. It has the classic design of the crowned shield, wrapped in an ornate frame of open work leaves and scrolling. Delicate engraving highlights the sterling silver metal work. A shield sits at the center of both sides of the fob. The medal bears no inscription, it is ready to be engraved with your own personal message. This substantial fob will make a bold statement worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.
The back of this medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1912. It is signed with the maker's mark WHH for William Hair Haseler, a silversmith producing out of Birmingham at the time.
