A classic sterling silver English medal fob with an applied gold shied; this piece has been well-loved, worn quite smooth like a worry stone or similar talisman. The medal is a spoked circle topped with an engraved crown. The shield sits on a field of engraved sprigs, hand engraved with the initials "JR." A personal inscription has been engraved on the back of the fob, it has been worn to illegibility. This fob will look quite lovely worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

The back of the medal is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the year 1907. It bears the maker's mark "M.B" for Birmingham silver smith Matthew Boulton.

Sale items are final sales. No returns, no exchanges and no refunds, please.

Details.....The medal measures 1" by 1.53". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
