This gorgeous necklace features organically-shaped beads of natural green turquoise. Graduated chunks of turquoise beads that have been tumbled to a smooth texture are hand knotted on green textile. The necklace clasps with a smaller turquoise bead that passes through a textile loop. Striking black matrix enhances the rich color of the gems. This necklace has a bohemian vibe; it was born to be worn with a peasant dress and will make a decadent statement paired with a tailored white blouse. Circa 1960.
Details.....The necklace measures 20" long, and the nuggets range in approximate size from 0.98" to 1.28". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
