Victorian Highly Detailed Pique Earrings

Beautiful Victorian Tortoise shell earrings inlaid with precious metals. This type of work is referred to as Piqué. This is a particularly fine example of the technique. One of the wonderful things about Piqué is that you can wear very large earrings and they are fairly light weight.

Measurements: 1.75" long and .75" wide at the middle.

Condition: Excellent with wear in keeping with their age.

Materials: Tortoise shell, Sterling silver, and Various colored Gold.

Era: Circa 1860.
