Striking Winged Rubellite Tourmaline Pendant

A kiss from an angel. This Victorian winged rubellite tourmaline pendant is strikingly beautiful. The brilliant gemstone is bezel set beneath exquisitely feathered wings cast in 14k yellow gold. A gold bar traverses the wings, forming the pendant's bale. A jump ring suspends the pendant from a 14k recycled gold cable chain finished with a secure lobster clasp. Circa 1860.

This pendant comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $4050.

Gemstone Details.....The 4.09ct rubellite tourmaline is an oval faceted cut; Moderately Included, Transparent, with a slpR 3/5 Light, Strong, Slightly Purplish Red color.

Details.....The pendant measures 0.73" by 1.05". The chain is 16" long. In Excellent Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
