The Slinky Snake Chain Brooch Necklace

This necklace is a fun combination! A vintage gold slinky snake chain is attached to a gilt brooch which is bezel set with a blue chalcedony gem. The blue of the gem is like a stormy sky which is so good with the mellow subtle colors of the metal. I enjoy re-purposing pieces into fun one of a kind jewels, this one is perfect for the person who loves to be unique. The necklace clasps by attaching the safety pin like opening to the ring at the end of the chain, where the brooch clasp to one side for the perfect drape. The brooch is European circa 1910 and the gold snake chain dates to the 1940's.
