This 14k gold Italian horn charm is a potent talisman. An oval jump ring marked "14k Italy" has been added to its integrated bale, making it easy to wear the charm on a necklace or one of our fabulous Ancient Influences married chains. Love the size and shape on this one. Circa 1960.
The Italian horn, also called cornicello, cornetto, corno, or corno portafortuna, is a traditional Italian talisman. It protects the wearer from malocchio (the evil eye) and bad luck. The horn also promotes fertility and virility. Sounds good to me.
Details.....The horn measures .19" by 1.08". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
