Gorgeous Engraved 9ct Rose Gold English Medal Fob

An unusual and gorgeous English medal fob made of rosy 9ct gold. The medal is oval with a shield at its center on a field engraved with leaves and crosshatching. The shield is hand engraved with the initials "LML." The back of the medal bears the personal inscription "D.H.G.C. 1927."  This beautiful fob will look great worn on one of our Ancient Influences married chains.

The jump ring is hallmarked for 9ct gold. The front of the piece is hallmarked for Birmingham, 9ct and the year 1920. It is also signed with the maker's mark J.W.T for Birmingham silver smith J.W. Tiptaft & Sons Ltd, founded in 1882. 

Details.....The medal measures 0.85" by 1.32", 1.51" with bale. It weighs 4.95 grams. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
