Large 18th Century Silver Cruciform Pendant

The creativity that went into of the making of this jewel makes my heart happy. Dating from the late 1700s, this Georgian pendant is made from silver which retains traces of its original 200 year old gilding. The cross-like form has intricate repoussé designs and handwork, creating the look of gems set in fancy collets. I am partial to its puffiness and uniqueness, as well as the ease of wear. It's quite light for its size. This is a one of a kind piece, I love how contemporary a 200 year old jewelry can look.
