This highly detailed gold 19th-century ring holds an intaglio of the Roman god Mercury. Mercury is carved in great detail, showing his profile and winged helmet clearly. The ring is 12k yellow gold, this gold fineness was introduced in 1854 in England.
Measurements: 11.6mm at the top and 3.3mm at the back of the shank.
Materials: 12k Yellow gold, and a Carnelian intaglio.
Condition: Excellent with light wear in keeping with its age.
Size: Currently a size 10, it can be sized down 2 sizes at no additional charge.
Era: Circa 1870.
