Egyptian Revival. This lovely stick pin is set with an opal carved in the shape of a scarab. The bezel of the gold setting has a design that resembles gathered fabric, beautiful and classically Archeological Revival period. Stick pins are equally fabulous on your lapel or scarf. Circa 1880.
Details.....The top measures .54" x .44". The pin is 2.52" long. Excellent Antique condition, with light wear to the opal visible with a loupe.
