Antique Cushion Cut Sapphire in Platinum Engagement Ring

The beautiful clear cornflower blue cushion cut sapphire dates from the late 19thc and looks perfect in its 1940s platinum setting. The sapphire is flanked by sparkling white baguette diamonds. A classic engagement ring with the most fabulous twist. Uniquely beautiful.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $4850.

Diamond Details.....The sapphire is a 1.84ct cushion cut, a transparent violet-blue. The flanking diamonds are baguette cuts .05tcw, VS clarity and G-H color. There is a GIA Certificate for the sapphire, it is not heat treated.

Details.....Currently a size 6. The top of the ring measures 16.1mm by 6.8mm and the band is 2.1mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
