The first thing that strikes you when you look at this locket is the lovely contrast between the Black enamel and the Persian Turquoise. The heart shaped locket suspends from a decorative bow top which is set with a Diamond, enameled, and has hand chased details. The locket is enameled on the front surrounding a teardrop shaped cabochon bright blue Persian Turquoise Gem. Around the edges surrounding the enamel are highly detailed hand engraved designs. The locket opens from the side revealing 2 compartments for photos or locks of hair. The back of the locket is crystal so you can see the contents without the need to open the locket. The locket is hallmarked with the French mark for 18k gold the Eagle.
Condition: Excellent with no enamel loss, the chain is a modern replacement in 14k gold.
